When GOD threw Lucifer out of heaven, that liar landed on earth to harass GOD’s people. Don’t ask me why GOD just didn’t get rid of him; that would take volumes. But GOD’s people know one thing...that GOD brought a Redeemer into our world, not only to redeem His people and set them free but to overpower the enemy and his sly ways of deception. Isaiah 60:1-2 says it so clearly, that when GOD sent the Light into this darkness, He meant for us to have that Light within each and every one of us. “Rise up in splendor and be radiant,for your light has dawned, GOD’s Glorynow streams from you!Darkness blankets the earth, and thick cloudscovers the nations, butGODarises upon youand the brightness of His Glory appears over you!Nations will be attracted to YOUR radiant lightand kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day. Lift up your eyes higher! Look all around you and Believe, for your sons are returning from far away and your daughters are being tenderly carried home. Watch as they all gather together, eager to come back to You!” (Passion translation) GOD wants you to recognize that you’re on the winning side in this battle on earth. I want you to know, that when you have devoted your life to the LORD, His Power in you is beyond any kind of power or authority in this world. TODAY, I’m praying for you…Yes…YOU. You don’t need to participate in the world’s holidays and celebrations to the devil. You don’t need to feel that you must give in or go along with what the world is doing. GOD is for you; He is NOT against you...and He has your back when you simply give Him your time and address Him as LORD. He’s got so much to show you, not only in this world but the world to come. Here is a prayer from GOD through Paul’s lips, from Colossians 1:9... “Since we first heard about you, we’ve kept you always in our prayers that you would receive the perfect knowledge of GOD’s pleasure and purpose over your lives (GOD is at work in you, both to will and to work for His Good Pleasure!), making you reservoirs of every kind of Wisdom and Spiritual Understanding. We pray that you would walk in the ways of true righteousness (no self-effort performance going on here), pleasing GOD in every good thing you do. Then you’ll become fruit-bearing branches, yielding to His life, and maturing in the rich experience of knowing GOD in His fullness! 11) And I pray that you would be energized with His explosive Power from the realm of His magnificent Glory, filling you with great Hope…your hearts soaring with joyful gratitude when you think of how GOD made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the Light!” As I pray for you, I realize that Holy Spirit is flooding your heart with light, the very light that Isaiah is writing about, so that you can understand what the hope of GOD’s calling in your heart is all about. He’s got such good things for you, and in your understanding of these things, Holy Spirit will give you the Power to Believe and Receive all He has for you! Anthony Robles had always wanted to wrestle for a top-10 school in the U.S. His dream was to play for Iowa, which was the winning wrestling school in the country. He settled in on trying to make the team at Arizona State because that’s where he lived. Right off, the coach told him that didn’t have much of a chance in getting on the team because he only had one leg. But that didn’t stop him; he worked hard, and even though things were unbearable with an abusive, loud- mouthed step father in the home, Anthony began lifting weights and running track (try that on one leg). Even climbing a mountain did not deter him. At the end of the year, Anthony had beat every one of his opponents and went to the NCAA nationals against the champion...he ended up in second place. The next year, he worked harder than ever, winning again against every ri- val in his conference, until the national championship came again in Philadelphia. He climbed the steps that Rocky had climbed determined and confident that this year he would win it all. And when it was all over, Anthony Robles was the NCAA Wrestling Champion in the 125 lb. class! When his coach asked him what the difference was from last year and this year, Anthony said, “I was angry and I let that anger show on the mat. This year I’ve laid down the anger and given my best with confidence that I would be able to win because of my determination, training and confidence.” He is a winner and America’s youth looks up to him. He is now a high school coach, training other wrestlers to give their all in everything they do. Go Anthony! No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: · Knowing when to come in out of the rain; · Why the early bird gets the worm; · Life isn't always fair; · and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. (a 6- year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student), only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for President Donald J. Trump’s groundbreakingpeace summitat the White House in August was being cele- brated by world leaders, national security experts, lawmakers, and others as a monumental stride toward resolving the longstanding war in Ukraine. The sum- mit, which brought together Ukrainian President Vo- lodymyr Zelenskyy and key European allies, marked another transformative moment in the pursuit of peace. To bring to- gether such a group of influential world leaders is phenomenal! This is one more step in prophecy being fulfilled and the world growing small- er because of the vast communication opportunities now being evi- denced. Pres. Donald Trump’s efforts are bringing together warring countries, around the world, to sit down and settle in a respectable fash- ion. Here’s what their saying: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte: “Although Putin is a stubborn opponent, no other world leader can achieve peace; President Trump is the only one who can do this.” Gen. Jack Keane (ret.): “You can’t overstate the significance of what we all witnessed and to describe it, as you have and others, as ‘historic’ certainly is factual…what we saw there is the undisputed global leader sitting down with the prominent leaders in Europe and President Zelensky to discuss a pathway forward for peace -and it is stunning!” Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul: “That was a very positive meeting and whoever had the idea to bring all these European leaders together in addition to President Zelenskyy -that was a bril- liant, brilliant idea. This is very positive progress.” Former U.S. Ambassador to Poland Daniel Fried: “A deal to end Rus- sia’s war against Ukraine could emerge soon.” Former National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien, Jr.: “Let’s be clear —it’s Donald Trump who’s cleaning up the Biden mess.” On October 7, 2023, an unthinkable thing happened along the border of Israel. In the early morning hours, an enemy crept into unsuspecting villages (Kibbutz’s), and dealt out murderous acts upon the innocent people, many still in bed. Babies were slammed against walls and baked in ovens, men and women were mercilessly macheted and shot by ruthless animals. And at the music festival, 378 young people were murdered and many taken as hostages of which 16 remain after these tyrants carried them away into darkness and starvation...750 days and counting. Pray for the Jewish people who have only known suffering during this long excruciating waiting... “Pray and seek for JerUSAlem’s peace, for all who love her will prosper! BECAUSE YOU GIVE Home of Refuge continues feeding 46 elderly from 4 communities -Ccarhuacalla, Molle- bamba, Quinura, and Pacareclambo -twice a month with groceries, medicine and other necessities. BECAUSE YOU GIVE each recipient from these 4 communities regularly hears the Word of GOD. BECAUSE YOU GIVE elderly residents from these communities taste of the love and goodness of GOD every Christmas (and other holidays), with meals, gifts, laughter and love once completely foreign to them. BECAUSE YOU GIVE currently 23 children from a village located in the high jungle of the Andes, are receiving non-perishable food fives times a week. This is a tremendous aid to impoverished families. Their moth ers can, now prepare food for them that would otherwise be impossible for them to have. BECAUSE YOU GIVE, every December, Home of Refuge International brings Joy to children from the jungle in Peru in very vulnerable situations, through gifts and a Christmas dinner, bearing witness to the love of Christ reflected in service to others. Because of terrorist groups in the area, these people have lived in terror and on the verge of starvation because of all the looting. And yet in the midst of much pain and neglect, GOD has raised up a New Hope.
