By Barbara Carmack #1 -Naming Your Future Days #2 -SUCCESS By DECREE! Remember this in 2026, my dear Friend...Use the Word of GOD to estab- lish that foundation that GOD will build on! You can believe the Word of GOD because “Every Scripture has been inspired by Holy Spirit, the Breath of GOD. It will empower you by its in- struction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direc- tion and lead you deeper into the path of godliness!” (II Timothy 3:16TPT) “In You I live and move and have my being!” Happy New Year! If you have listened to Christian media you have heard about Job and his life lessons...and many of you have identified with his trials and tribulations. You may also be aware of all the advice that Job received from his “friends.” One Scripture stands out from all the others when faced with decisions that may change your situation that you find yourself in...and especially at the beginning of a New Year. Job’s friend, Eliphaz, describes com- municating with GOD in a new way...a way that Job was not acquainted with - talking with GOD in a confident way of issuing the future: “You will pray to Him and He will hear you; and you will pay your vows. You will also DECREE a thing (your desire), and it will be established for you and light will shine on your ways. When you are cast down, you will speak with confidence, and the humble person He will save.” (Job 22:28) That is a very bright spot in this book of Job. You may ask, “What does ‘decree a thing’ have to do with anything?” Thousands of years later, at this very time in your life, you are needing a rescue of sorts...in your physical life, in your finances, and in your relationships. You are in need of an answer from GOD. This is where the fun and adventure occur and you are vital in GOD delivering the answer to your request. YOU “decree a thing!” You may say that you don’t understand “decree a thing,” and yet again, you may say, “Oh, I’m supposed to say what I want with GOD’s cooperation?” YES! So many Scriptures in the Bible tell us to speak or say what we desire with our mouths...and it’s so difficult to bring those requests out in the open for GOD to work on. But it’s paramount, in this day and age, to do exactly that. “So shall My Word go forth out of My mouth,” from Isaiah 55:11, is one ex- ample of GOD telling you to speak His Word into your situation...OUT LOUD. Our Pow’r Pack tells you to say the affirmations and Scriptures that you’re memorizing OUT LOUD. Why? Because there’s a transaction that occurs from the spiritual realm to the physical realm. Why shouldn’t it be that way...GOD spoke and the world was created. So, if you want something to happen super- naturally, you speak and GOD will complete it, in JESUS’ Name. How exciting!! When you get this revelation, you will see more things in your life come to light. Completing that verse from Isaiah 55:11, “So shall My Word be that goes forth from My Mouth, it shall not return empty or void, without accomplishing what I desire, and succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Wow! This is a great verse of potential explosive return on your prayers! What this Scripture means is when you speak the Word of GOD, out loud and verbally, GOD will see to it that what you spoke will come to pass and succeed in your life. What you spoke in the spirit will become manifest in the physical. Living this life in Christ is so exciting! Another Scripture that talks about “decreeing a thing” is found in Mark 11:23 -24 (this is JESUS speaking), “Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain (doubt, fear, unbelief, unforgiveness), ‘be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but Believes that what he says is going to happen, it shall be granted him.” What this Scripture says is that you’re attacking those things that keep your prayers from being answered -doubt, fear, unbelief, and unforgiveness, etc. JESUS is very personal when He speaks verse 24: “I say to YOU, all things for which you Pray and Ask, Believe that you have received them and they shall be granted you!” This is a precious Promise from JESUS Himself, just for you! We made our way to the jungles of Peru where children we feed each month received a Christmas meal. We gave them a meal to remember, full of things they could never afford to have, complete with a special Christmas gift for each boy and girl. GOD bless you as you study the Bible in 2026! It has been one year since Pres. Trump has taken over the reins as the Administrator of the people of the United States. His cabinet is made up of gifted and talented, thoroughly knowledgeable leaders in their own rights. What a privilege to be able to say that America is coming around to the principles that were laid out by dedicated and determined men who desired to live in a country that was “Land of the Free and Home of the Brave”, a land where everyone was equal, as in GOD’s eyes. Yes, there are problems, but in the Spirit, the land is coming together! It is a privilege to see the growth and understanding coming into the hearts of these leaders, and listening to what has been accomplished in Pres. Trump’s cabinet. Listening to the commanding voice of Pete Hegseth gives one confidence that the Secretary of War is going to do everything in his power to see that the people of the United States are safe. With him at the helm waking up every morning is a blessing! When Attorney Pam Bondi steps behind that microphone, you see a determined and very dedicated woman who will make sure that Justice prevails in the United States, turning wrongs into “rights” for the American people. When a criminal is found, after hiding for several years under the guise of being an American, Kash Patel and the FBI unveil the truth and that dangerous legal or illegal is prosecuted to the full extent. When Americans are growing weary of the medical appointments and all the medication that they are consuming, what a breakthrough for our country to see someone like Robert Kennedy come forward to proclaim that he is striving with every breath to make America Healthy again -MAHA! In previous years, the United States has been laughed at and ridiculed over their flimsy excuse of “Tough Negotiations”. This has all changed with Marco Rubio at the head of the State Dept. His team, with Steve Witcoff and Jared Kushner, have brought several wars to a standstill. There is much to be done, but in one year, more has been accomplished under the leadership of Pres. Donald J. Trump than several previous administrations. We take our hats off to the Trump Administration! Your identity is as unique to you as your fingerprints. GOD didn't go down the line and stamp you out with a cookie cutter. He made you uniquely different, yet you're made in His Image and Likeness. So, as you renew your mind, and that Word level begins to rise in your life, very quickly you are going to know who you are. You can educate yourself to do just about anything. It’s not what you do that’s your identity. Your identity, or who you are, cannot be in what you do, or you will, at some point in your life, find that you're lost in the world, because you identified with what you did, not with who you are. You may be a mom, and when those children grow up and leave home, will you collapse and be in deep depression? You will if you have your identity in those children. For so many of you who will face retirement, you believe your work is who you are, and when that time comes, then what will you say about who you are? The enemy will be able to bring fear and frustration and anxiety into your life. So much illness and especially heart attacks occur right after retirement for many people. I don't want to hear that story about you, that you finally have your home all paid for and then, when the children are all gone from the home...you die of a heart attack! If you follow what I say, the enemy will never be able to tell you lies about who you are. Renew your mind in GOD's Word. Live in love, speakPeace, speakPurity, speakJoy, speakStrong Confidence, and GOD's Righteousness will sur- round you like a blanket. The important thing is that you're learning who you are. Some of you will never sort it until you study more Word and it becomes a part of you. That's what it's all about -you becoming a Word-person and the Word changing you. Your true identity only comes out of GOD's Word! Your identity only comes as an expression of JESUS. GOD’s desire for you is to move from image to image and from glory to glory (II Corinthians 3:18). Many of you are highly educated; you have a master's or doctor's degree, or some kind of a college degree, and you still do not know who you are. I used to interview college graduates for teaching positions. They had 4-year degrees, but they didn't know the first thing about their own identity. They didn't know who they were, and they didn't know their worth. They couldn't sort that be- cause they had gone by accumulated knowledge or, as we say in spiritual terms, Sense Knowledge. All they had learned had been taught to them through their five senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell.What I'm telling you is that you can move from image to image and glory to glory by the Power of Holy Spirit Who is in you and Who has promised to teach you all things: “Holy Spirit Whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you ALL things and bring to your remem- brance all that I said to you.” (John 14:26) And here's another great promise for you from John 16:13, “But when the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into ALL the truth, for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears from the Father, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” I’m rooting for you! “Eat the fat, drink the sweet, share with others, do not grieve… for the JOY of the LORD is your strength!” By Derin Carmack—Seven Steps to Inner Freedom Team Courageous members are gaining strength through GOD’s Word and prayer. This year… 1) REFRESH—Ask GOD to refresh you and give you a New Vision for the year ahead: “I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a Future and a Hope!” (Jeremiahs 29:11) 2) RENEW—Ask GOD to help you see your life from HIS perspective, and renew your commitment to HIS vision and purpose for your life (see Derin’s article on page 3). “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let GOD transform you into a New person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to KNOW GOD’s WILL for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect!” (Romans 12:2) 3) RESOLVE—Resolve to be faithful to GOD’s purpose in your life and to glorify Him in the areas that He has revealed to you about your progress in your prayer life. (THANKING GOD for YOU!) “I cast not away my confidence for it has a great reward; for I have need of endurance so when I have done the WILL of GOD, I will receive what was promised!” (Hebrews 10:35-36) 4) RECORD—Write down the things that GOD has revealed to you in prayer as Habakkuk did in Habakkuk 2:2-4, and re- view them frequently, remembering that it is only by His Grace that you are able to grow in Him...JESUS!” “Record the vi- sion and inscribe it plainly on tablets that the runner may carry the correct message to the people.” As you get this vision for 2026, you will begin to understand that you are a needed member of the Body of Christ JESUS!
