In this day and age, it is a common thing to collect lots of knowledge; but not all knowledge is beneficial, because too much worldly knowledge brings on Pride. Kimberly is stating that, in order to remain calm in times of distress, we must go DEEP before the times of turmoil interrupt our days. James 1 tells us to “Count it all Joy when we encounter various trials….” It’s so important to stay calm in all kinds of scenarios!
