We should not look for approval from others, because most people “compare themselves with themselves” (II Corinthians 10:12). When your comparisons are within your cliche or family or employment or even church, you’re going to be frantic in your eagerness to be like them. It is JESUS that we follow, and Holy Spirit teaches us all things.
