Today Barbara reveals a news report from Savannah Guthrie, pleading on behalf of her mother, that she be returned, dead of alive. She offers a ransom of up to $1,000,000 anonymously if desired. Barbara goes into prayers by King David from II Samuel 22 and a prayer from his son, King Solomon, at the dedication of the temple, “O LORD GOD of Israel, there is no GOD like Thee in the heavens!” When things are not looking good in your life, go to Proverbs 3:5-7 and trust in the LORD with all your heart. The Word never returns void!

Today Barbara is excited to talk about the U.S. vs Canada hockey game at the Olympics. Knowing the tragedy that occurred, the victory was doubly satisfying! Barbara talks about the tooth that Jack Hughes lost in the third period, and how he made the winning goal in overtime. She also talks about the tragic loss of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother while cycling at the hands of a drunk driver. She explains Habakkuk’s plight when the Babylonians were about to invade Israel and in his distress he exclaims, “I will rejoice in the GOD of my salvation!” Stand strong in the faith of GOD, your Deliverer, my Friends!
